Travelers visiting Myanmar require to be in possession of a valid passport to enter the country. Travelers entering Myanmar at Yangon International Airport, Nay Pyi Taw International Airport or Mandalay International Airport are eligible to apply for a Myanmar e-Visa online prior to their travel to the country. This e-Visa is now acceptable and replaces the traditional visa sticker that used to be stamped in the traveler’s passport.
Applicants can now complete the application process online and the Myanmar visa is issued electronically. The original passport and application form are not required for the processing of the request.
